Choose for the guests and the venue
A garden ceremony, home reception and large outdoor wedding need different layouts. Tell us the guest count, event duration and whether the venue’s indoor restrooms are included. Discuss children, older guests and anyone who needs an accessible route before settling on equipment.
A restroom trailer can offer a more finished interior. A deluxe unit may work when the trailer’s tow access or utility needs cannot be met. Ask to see the actual interior and exterior rather than choosing by a category name.
Walk the setup with your coordinator
Mark the restroom approach, lighting, queue space and handwashing. Keep the guest route separate from catering equipment where practical. If a trailer needs power or water, assign responsibility for the connections and have the model’s specification checked.
Have the venue approve the surface, delivery entrance and setup position. Confirm whether steps, ramps or leveling equipment affect the available space. A photograph of a trailer does not confirm accessibility.
Write down the schedule around the celebration
Delivery should be coordinated with rehearsal, tent installation and catering arrivals. Collection must happen while the entrance and tow route are still open. If the venue needs removal the same evening or by the next morning, say so before accepting the quote.
For a Berkeley City-permitted event, review the local placement conditions. An ordinary private-weekend rental schedule may not be appropriate. Ask for the complete cost, cancellation deadline and any attendant arrangement in writing.
