Start with the working environment
Describe the facility, worker count, shifts and why temporary restrooms are needed. A maintenance area, a secured yard and a shutdown affecting fixed toilets create different access and servicing needs. Tell us whether the work falls under construction rules or another applicable workplace standard.
Coordinate entry and safety requirements
Share vehicle checkpoints, orientation requirements and the contact who can authorize entry. Keep equipment away from active loading paths, hazardous operations and emergency routes. The facility manager should approve the position and any protective measures.
Portable restrooms are sanitation equipment, not a substitute for process-specific decontamination or emergency washing systems. Explain task-related requirements so the appropriate site personnel can review them.
Plan service around the shifts
Confirm when servicing can safely take place and how the service team accesses a secured area. Review heavier use, additional pump-outs and replenishment. Record a backup contact so a locked gate or absent supervisor does not prevent an agreed visit.
Keep shutdown dates and rental terms aligned
Share the scheduled restart date, but agree on an extension process if the work runs longer. Request the recurring amount, service inclusions and final removal charge in writing. Ask for confirmation when the temporary facilities are no longer required.
